So as most people are aware, if you run your laptop on AC it will still chip away at your battery charges unless you run it off battery every now & then and do the odd calibration. Does it matter what GPU you use while on AC? I know the power to the computer comes from AC when plugged in and not the batter but is it harder on the battery at all when it comes to it losing a bit of its charge?

My guess is it wouldn't make a difference, but then what is it that makes your battery go down in charge capacity anyways, just age? ...a short lifespan? Its would be logical that if you left your battery in the computer and just ran off AC that it should remain at 100% but thats not the case.
