9600M does not work with the lid closed?

Well, I have my dell LCD hooked up to my Unibody MBP, and it seems like in the Energy Saver pane, I cannot switch between the two graphic cards. It doesn't even show the "Better Battery Life", "Graphic Performance" checkbox bubbles.

Is this normal?

Have 10.5.6? It's normal. That menu seems to have been broken by it.

Dammit, when will Apple ever release a "proper" update where they FIX things instead of breaking more things. Haha.
