Any beta testers out there have their graphics problems solved by the new 10.5.7 update?

I would just like to know if 10.5.7 includes new Nvidia graphics drivers?

Yes or no will suffice

I'm pretty sure there will be a an update for cards but it might not be included with .7. Might come before or even after it. I really hope sooner than later, I just hope that Apple doesn't rush it and provides us with a driver or firmware that still lacks.

What 9600M problems?
Are you referring the overheating 9600M's?
The not properly soldiered to the logic board 9600M's?
The Underclocked 9600M's?

An update will only fix one of these things...

In my Snow Leopard beta my 9600M runs about 15C hotter and my battery life is reduced to about 2 hours (im using a 2009 17" Unibody) so god help people who already have 9600 issues when Snow Leopard is released.

How did you manage to get SL Beta to run on a unibody:confused:

The same way everyone else with the beta gets it to run? The installation process for a Unibody is the same for any other Apple machine. I'm not sure i'm even allowed to describe Snow Leopards installation process as thats fairly unique and covered by the non disclosure agreement.

With the not so stellar battery life now, what would be the point of enabling SLI if SL actually has that feature? Using both cards would be killer on the battery unless they optimize it but how much can you optimize to save battery life? The one thing that I experienced with the Late-2008 models and what I want fixed the most is having both cards handle QE/CI better than it already is, cause the transitions and animations at times is just brutal!
