Email problems with Iphone 4

Some strange things are going on with my emails.
First it will beep and show my on my inbox that I have 2 new emails (as an example) but then when I go to the inbox there is nothing there. My email account is @me.com and it's the only account I have.
If I scroll all the way down see 2 new empty emails. If I reboot the iphone, the emails are back to normal.

Then if I do get to see the emails, when i go in and read it. The status doesn't alway go back to read. It stays as unread.

I have the same problem too. Read a mail go back and still says I have unread mails. Also I too have the mysterious empty mails after reading. Same account as my 3gs never had a problem.

Restart the phone fixes it, however I need to restart few times a day.

Somewhat similar to my 3GS

I would get a new email, but When I launch the app it would load the mail for like a second and then disappear. Then Id have to click refresh and it would show.

Same problem for me. A reset seems to work, but not ideal.

Just force quitting the app seems to fix it for me, but still very annoying.

Try holding the top button till power off slider comes up then hold the home button, that will force quit the app, then relaunch.

I've had the same thing going on with my iPhone 3G upgraded to iOS4. After the upgrade I jailbroke it and installed LockInfo. I thought that was causing the problem but I guess not. Think I'm going to downgrade back to 3.1.3.

I'm getting the 12/31/69 emails as well. I asked a genious about it yesterday in the Apple Store and he said he had never heard of it. : (

Empty Emails

Since itunes 9.2.1 and iOs 4.0.1 I have been seeing what can only be described as empty emails these can show 01/01/69 or 01/01/70 for me thus far. This is on my iPhone 3Gs

Here are a couple of screen shots of what shows with these. The images contain no personal info of any kind.

These to me are strange as I have never seen anything like this before on the iphone.

I have also posted on apple discussion forums as there a several other people affected by the same issue.

I am hoping someone may have a fix be it temporary or better or even some ideas.

There looks like thereis a bug in iso4. This was also happening in 4.0.
Look at your date it's messed up .. 1/01/70

My e-mail (esp. exchange account) was doing this. I just deleated and re-set up the account and it was fine.

I turned off threading - that sorted it for me.
