Podcast lose time after iTunes connect

when i download a podcast, its fine, time is fine and everything, but after i connect my phone to itunes (mac) it does this to the podcasts

as you can see the time is gone from the podcasts, replaced by --/-- which means a cant navigate thought the podcasts. The are also reset every time. Can someone please help this is really annoying.

Seems like it might be more of an iTunes issue than an IOS4 issue (which is when I first noticed it).
