iPhone 4 WiFi Reception better or Worse

Has anyone really noticed if the WiFi reception is better on the 4 then on the 3GS. I just did a test and I have the latest Apple Router with N and this thing screams on N with my 4 but I am just curious if anyone else did some testing.

The way I hold the phone in landscape makes the wifi go down. That makes the point moot to me.

WIFI is pretty good on the 4, definitely faster than the 3G but YouTube loading with wifi sucks.

I believe it is way better. I went over to my buddies house the other night, I park out in the street which is about 25 yards away from the house, and I was already connected to his wifi before I was out of the car. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

Wifi is much faster. Speedtest gave my 3GS with or without 4.0 about 2 to 4 Mbs. My 4G does 12 Mbs up and down!! Major difference. 😀

That is because the iPhone 4 has 802.11b/g/n (up to 150 Mbps)

The fact that it is 802.11n gives me better range and speeds.

Probably because it tries to load a higher-rez version or something since it's wifi vs 3G?

My iPhone 4 wifi is blazing fast. Much better than my 3G. I didn't have a 3GS to compare.

much, much better. i get a stronger signal and can pick up a lot more networks than my old 3G

I think the whole web browsing experienceis better on my i4 then my 3GS only because the screen is nice'r I am not sure there is a way better performance yet when it comes to the speed still need to do some more testing but side by side my i4 and 3 GS seem to load pages the same speed.

Now that I am on my second i4 things seem to be better with the reception and prox sensor however I still have some bugs to work out it seems certain apps start to load then quit and they are the i4 apps approved for iOS4 like Weather Channel Max.

We will see in the next two weeks

I was lucky to get 2mb down on my 3gs and now I'm getting 15mb down on my 4. I get 20 down on my macbook pro
