Vertical blue line on my 23" cinema display

It would appear that my 23" flat panel has started having an issue on it's 1-year birthday. A few days ago I turned it on as usual, and a blue vertical line appeared–– going all the way down my screen from top to bottom. I took the radeon card out, put it back in. I also connected my screen to a different computer. I still have the HIDEOUS blue line. Have the red and green gone bad in that row of pixels? It seems that I'm screwed, dudes.

I had a red vertical line on my 17" PB when I first got it. It disappeared after I ran all updates, repaired permissions and restarted (one of the updates was an OSX update). It may not work for you but I thought I'd try to tell you what worked for me.
