My wireless keyboard and mouse have been working well for a year. Now, every 4-5 minutes it disconnects and a minute later reconnects without any action from me. I have installed new batteries.

If the mouse and keyboard both do it, I think it would be an issue with the computer. Do they disconnect at the same time and reconnect at re same time? Have you tried a different Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to isolate the issue? Did you try re "disconnecting" mouse and kb on a different computer with Bluetooth? Kinda hard to find re issue w/o trouble shooting. You need to isolate the issue to fix the problem.
