php, MySQL, and phpMyAdmin nothing work

Hi guys,

I really need ur help please.

I did go to system Preferences >> Sharing >> and activate web sharing.

but the surprise was the:-

1- http://localhost

2- http://10.228.149.146/

3- http://10.228.149.146/~MyUswerName/

are not working at all. It gives me Failed open the page.

I'm tired of reading and trying everything i swear.

I have Mac OS X Version 10.5.8

I'm really going crazy.

I did a restore for 4 days back to make sure that everything good but the result was the same.

Failed open the page on :-

1- http://localhost

2- http://10.0.1.2/

3- http://10.0.1.2/~ahmedradhy/

please someone help.

Firstly, is apache actually running?
Are you comfortable with the command line?

If you want to save yourself some grief just install one of the various sandbox solutions to get up and running quickly eg XAMPP

how can i know if apache is running ?

please help to do it in the normal way. I do not wanna use any program for that.

I solved the problem by solving the following in terminal:-

sudo mkdir /private/var/log/apache2
