"Apple doesn't plan to recall the phone, a person familiar with the matter said."

One line in that whole entire article? Doesn't tell us much IMO

Yeh sounds like crap. Much more evidence to suggest they will imo.

What a pathetic article from WSJ - it's been written to pull people into the site, nothing more.

They know nothing.

i'll agree with you on that. there have been past rumors about the iPad on WSJ that did NOT turn out to be true.

Take WSJ with a grain of salt. Btw, its owned by Rupert Murdoch.. NOOOOOO

RP = Mr. Greedy
I canceled my subscription some time ago.

Anyway, I see a free bumper case coming our way from Apple....

How can there be a RUMOR that Apple WON'T do a recall? You speak as if a recall is confirmed.

I'm a "person familiar with the matter" and I say they will be giving us all free pet monkeys tomorrow. WSJ, would you like to quote me?

I can understand a blog printing stuff like this, but how do people who claim to be journalists get away with it?

;) ;)

really?

i can put it in sentence format for your consideration

There is a rumor from Wall Street Journal claiming that Apple will NOT recall the iPhone 4.

idk how it can be any clearer... and there is no insinuation at all that I am confirming anything. Had i not put in 'rumor' in the thread title, that would be a different story. but alas, enough with semantics.
