Hey,
I know battery degradation is not a linear process, but I found my battery to loose 3% of capacity just after 15cycles

Did any of you had similar results?

it even dropped to 96 heheh

From what I understand, batteries rated for a certain capacity can sometimes hold slightly more or less out of the factory. I'd just keep an eye on if it continues to drop. Is the device new from Apple or did it have a new battery put in?

Hi
I bought MacBook pro 7 weeks ago. The battery capacity is 98% after 13 cycles. Should I worry about it and contact Apple?
Apple won’t do anything with the battery at 98%. Their diagnostics would show normal. The apps we used, while okay, are not 100% definitive. As long as it stays above 80% health for 1,000 cycles, Apple will tend to say it is okay. Chances are your keyboard will go first which gives you a new battery. /s

You'll get varying results depending on many circumstances, temperature being a big one. But also depending on the whether the mac is charging at 100% or not.

Better off looking at system report and taking "Charge remaining" / "Full Charge Capacity" after waiting for the perfect conditions. Cool machine, plugged in at a relatively high battery %, etc.
