So tonight around 1:30 a friend called me to go meet him and his friend at an old abandoned school.

Before I arrived I had the thought of what if I get caught? I would be charged with trust passing, and breaking and entering.

After entering the school, I had the thought of what if there is some homeless person living in here, a homeless person with mental issues. (Who knows what they would do)

- I was thinking what about the floors, stairs, how safe are they? There was broken glass everywhere, and in the band room there was about 50 very old desks just pilled up in the middle. The band room has around 4 layers of floor.

- Walking through the dark down long hallways I was wondering what if something comes up behind me?

- We got near the stairwell for the basement, I would assume where the boiler is, and there was creaking walls, creaking pipes, and just horrible sounds. There was barley any windows.

Old computer hardware smashed all over the place.

Graffiti written on the walls, "like I died here, swastikas, the star of david creepy looking faces.

All doors, closed so when ever you opened a door you wondered what the heck is behind the door? What might be waiting?

In a couple of rooms there was a horrible stench, a stench of stale, or possibly rotting matter. Who knows?

Creepy desks hanging around in hallways.

Anyways it was scary at times, but well worth it! ;)

Oh mate thats nothing, how about seeing your grandmother at 6 in the morning with a tshirt on without a bra underneath? thats some scary ****

I guess the building was condemned so I better not go back in there.

Now, I know this is a Waloshin thread™, but I'll ask anyway:

"And the point of this is?"
:rolleyes::confused:

BTW, that is trespass, not trust pass.

Well it will be a good archive so I dont forget, and I thought I would share.

Don't think I'd have the balls to do something like that! I'd be absolutely bricking it the whole time.

Thanks for the link to urban explorers btw, some cool threads and pics on there!

This reminds me of that old show on MTV called "Fear."

Fear of the unknown is normal but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Urban exploration will be almost always creepy/scary because it's an unknown but don't let that fear overwhelm you and cause your mind to play tricks on you. Never go alone. Be logical, observant and deliberate in every step and take precautions. Bring back-up flash lights (and batteries) and an air horn and or whistle if you get into trouble and need to let someone know your whereabouts OR if you want to scare an unwanted person off. An air horn to the face of a potential attacker will give you a couple seconds to run while they shake off the shock of it, and it's not a crime. Of course have your mobile phone but don't totally count on it. (some brick/metal lined walls will knock out your reception)

Wear long sleeves and jeans in case you fall and definitely wear good shoes, ones that are tough but agile.

Just some tips off the top of my head.
