i switched back to safari bc of the html5 force extension, however i find myself always googling something from the url bar which inturn takes me to page can not be displayed. its very annoying, does anyone know if there is an extension which makes the address bar also work as a search bar?

there are no extensions as the API doesn't allow access to the address bar.
I was looking for the same and found only keywurl which is a plugin. My advice though stick with Chrome it is better in almost any way.

I disagree. I use chrome on windows and love it! I stick with safari on mac though. Chrome is eh. I like the safari reader. It is awesome! haha.I also don't have safari crash on me. I do sometimes use chrome though.. because the new flash beta fails at rendering.

i want this and I want my bookmarks to only show up when I am on a new page (or like on my iPad when I select text in the url window - which should be one url/search window.)

Mate, the only way I can see is if you slide the google search field all the way over the screen to the left (i.e. make it longer)... so it is not a wee tiny mini box on the right hand side...

Apart from that.. Sorry...

Can't think of anything else...

amazing...

just curious though. when new version release do we just run the updated package over the old or uninstall?

amazing, thanks!

This was one of the only reasons holding me back to use safari instead of chrome
