Flicker home screen?

Sometimes when I unlock my phone and the screen is about to appear it flickers. It's not a constant flicker. It's almost like a flash on the whole screen. It has to be 4.0 cause my iPod touch does it too sometimes and it never did before. This has nothing to do with the flicker people see going from page one to two

Flicker from page two to page one? Good. I thought I was the only one. It's very faint but noticable none the less. Does anyone know if this was fixed with 4.0.1?
 
None of the flickers (2 to 1 or the unlock) have been fixed via 4.0.1

Sucks that I'll have to decide (most likely) between jailbreaking this beast or getting some of the bugs fixed in 4.1 :confused:

Same here but, this is minimal so ima def jailbreak instead of updating to 4.1.................. I hope!
 
I think the flicker from Page 2 to 1 is normal. Seems like it's the the momentum from the scrolling between pages that dims the screen a bit because it's about to go into "spotlight".

So I don't expect any software fixes for that.
 
is this by any chance fixed in 4.1. it happens on my ipod touch, so its def. a bug in 4.0. never happened on my ipod touch before. it happens so randomly and very few times, but its def some sort of bug.

I updated to 4.1 GM (same as public release) from 4.0 and the page 2 to 1 flicker caused by the doing a fast flick on the screen is fixed. The flickering when unlocking has not been fixed.
This is what I'm experiencing and I would like to share my experience.
And I don't think restoring might help, unless its a restore to 4.1 from 4.x, then you might notice changes..

Yea but some of my friends say that they dont have the flicker from
Unlock screen happening to them. I would be restoring my 4.1 to a clean 4. Incase 4.x carried something ove
 
I restored it and set up as new phone and I thought at first it fixed it but it has done it once since then. There is no pattern to it. It's completely random. My friend doesn't have it happen to their phone. So im not sure how a bug can be on some phones and not others.
 
Me too

I have the flicker from the lock screen too, but not from page 2 to 1. It's random and barely noticeable so I ignore it. ;)
