Which Xbox 360 should I get?

Which version of the new Xbox 360 should I get with Kinect:

The glossy 250GB for $299 and the Kinect for $149

Total: About $450

or

The matte 4GB for $299 that is bundled with Kinect

Total: About $299

The 4GB is obviously a better deal, but I am not sure that it's enough space.

Please help me decide

I'm curious as to why you would ask this in a Mac forum, instead of an Xbox forum, since choosng an Xbox has nothing to do with Macs.

Yeah, I noticed both threads were in Apple Hardware.

Anyway, no use in two threads:

I'm either going to get the cheaper one and buy a 250GB HDD, or get the Halo Reach one, which is matte silver. I think the glossy finish on the 'premium' Xbox 360 S just makes it look cheap.

However, I have a perfectly functional 360 Pro so for now I'll do neither.

well, if you game a lot, then i would get the 450 bundle. also, i am not sure if you can switch out the drives on the 4gb matte one.

You also could have added the poll to the existing thread you started on the topic. There's no need to create duplicate or repetitive threads on the same topic, which is a violation of forum rules. Nor is there a need to post consecutively, which is also against forum rules.

Do you already have a 360? It sounds like you do, and if that's the case, why are you buying either bundle?

Kinect is expensive, unproven and lacks a true killer app. Just wait on it. If you don't have a 360 already, get the 4 GB version for $199. Save a few hundred dollars, that you can invest on starting a great library of established, high quality, and discounted games.

I don't have a 360, I have a PS3. I will use the Xbox 360 as the main gaming console, making the PS3 perfect for Blu-Ray, Playstation Move, and exclusive gaming titles. Therefore, I probably will need the extra space if it is going to be my main gaming console, because I will most definitely be downloading things.

On that note, what's your vote?
