unresponsive trackpad after graphics update

I don't know if it's linked to the update – but it started just after I applied it – the cursor jumps about erratically. I tried plugging in a mouse and get the same result. Has this happened to anyone else? I use a MacBook Pro released this year.

I have the base i5 15" and don't have any problems with my trackpad/mouse after installing the update.

2010 MBP 13, just install the update early today. Trackpad/Magic Mouse function as per normal. You might wanna do a restore and try installing again??? 😱

I have noticed a few times my cursor will jump across the screen lately. My trackpad also doesnt register every click, although that is most likely a mechanical problem.

I would re-install the OS. That seems to fix most software issues.

How about going into system preferences and reseting the trackpad and mouse to factory defaults?
