Hi,
I just thought I'd like to register to share my color profile for regular MBP Unibody with 9CA4 screen. I've calibrated it with ColorMunki Display (native whitepoint, Gamma 2.2).
I ordered this panel and replaced it with my old LP154WE3-TLA2 which caused me severe eye strain. IMO it's the best 15.4" TN panel you can get.
It has an impressive contrast ratio and good viewing angles for a TN panel - vertically it only becomes darker or brighter but colors don't invert.
I've measured it with dispcalgui uncalibrated in the middle and I'm impressed how good results are:
Black level = 0.3365 cd/m^2
50% level = 79.53 cd/m^2
White level = 322.43 cd/m^2
Aprox. gamma = 2.02
Contrast ratio = 958:1
White chromaticity coordinates 0.3023, 0.3172
White Correlated Color Temperature = 7253K, DE 2K to locus = 3.8
White Correlated Daylight Temperature = 7253K, DE 2K to locus = 0.9
White Visual Color Temperature = 7070K, DE 2K to locus = 3.6
White Visual Daylight Temperature = 7295K, DE 2K to locus = 0.8
