soo how the hell do i do it???

basically i want to copy some of my normal dvds to dvd-r 4,7gb 4x speed
but obviously cant..... ive got mactheripper and mac2one but they still leave the films at about 5.4gb.... am i doing it wrong... any links or answer will be very much appreciated....

It there a setting to encode it at a lower bit-rate? Or maybe throw out some of the DVD special features? That should cut down on the size.

Funny. I use it, without even changing the settings, and it works just fine.

well firstly it wont even start now... something about encryption...do you know how to get around this?

infact is there anyway i could ask for a step by step??? do i have to decrypt it first??? then run it through dvd2one?? do i copy from dvd to movie file then go from there... i am truely lost....

there are some DVD's that just wont "shrink" to 4.2gb, it'll stay at 5.7 for some reason.. i can't name any off the top fo my head, but i've seen that problem before.

Since you've said it's encrypted, i'll assume you didn't authenticate it and then decrypt the files. Since that probably means it's commerical, ill bow out of answering any further :)

you have to use dvdbackup to decrypt and back it up first... also first let the dvd open in the apple dvd player before doing anything. then use dvd2onex to shrink either just the movie or the whole dvd to 4.4gb. hope this helps
