Apple store goes down
Lights dim
Enter Jobs
iTunes no1 music seller in US/World/Universe
iPhone no1 smartphone in US/World/Universe
New software for iPhone - nice demos
App store goes live today - more nice demos
New iPhone range - 3G/GPS, 5M camera, 32GB, various colours, new sensors, other nice stuff
New iPhone available in 27 countries from today
One more thing - Beatles on iTunes from today
Enter Ringo to sing about how he loves Liverpool, honest he does
Lights dim
Apple store comes back up
Apple store goes down through sheer weight of traffic

Its not rocket science is it?

Does anyone really care if the Beatles are on iTunes, or do people just like talking about it? I would imagine anyone that would care at all already owns the Beatles music and won't be purchasing it from iTunes. Not to mention it would be a hugely anticlimactic "one more thing..." after a new iPhone with all the features you described.

My thoughts exactly

I think the new iPhone(s) would be left to the very last, and, personally, I see Steve doing it in his classic "One more thing..." fashion

But what would come before it? The new iPhone is expected (if its not announced before then) and nothing else, in particular, is.

The pressure is becoming high for apple to introduce the new iPhone before the start of the WWDC. It will be introduced earlier so that not all the attention goes to it.

yeah cos thats the last thing apple would want

You're all wrong. Jobs will declare himself Lord of All Humanity, and high priest of the one True God as his spine glows red. Grows a beard, wears a pinstripe suit pulls out a lightsaber. Flicks a switch somewhere and all iPods and iPhones suddenly makes a whoooom whoooom noise, and has red glowing cyclops eye swooping left to right. Sprouts arms and latches onto the person wearing them. Any attempt to remove will cause the device to explode.

Thus begun a new world order. :D:p

I for one welcome our new ipod overlords!

i think the OP nailed it..typical steve jobs fashion statistics will be thrown out first, "iphone sold 2.5 trillion units in the first year in 14 different galaxies "...then the new iphone update..then the new iphone..then the AMAZING "one more thing" will grace us with the beatles on itunes..OMGG FINALLY..cuz im really gonna care about that after i hear the new iphone announcement

1. Talk about iphone sales
2. Officially announce/release the SDK
3. Talk about the SDK and show off sample apps
4. SDK is in new OS, which is now available
5. Announce new iphone and show it off

That's enough to fill 90 minutes.

When was the last time there was actually a 'one more thing' mentioned as such in a keynote? It seems like it's been a while.

iTunes no. 1
iPods sold 200,000,000
iPhone no. 1 smartphone in US + (maybe UK)
New iPhone
SDK + app store
One more thing...
New Macbook Pro, or Mini (Mini is very long shot)

i reckon the iPhone will be the centre of attention throughout conference however, i dont know why people find it so difficult to understant that the MBP have barely been around for four months and therefore it is impossible to upgrade them so early..
