I thought the homescreen would dynamically update depending on how often you used an app, doing it from the phone seems a bit clunky. But whatever.

Probably going to be locked since MacRumors now has it posted on the Home page.

Perhaps that's for when you first set up the watch? I would imagine a lot of these settings are one and done not something you have to actively manage on a regular basis.

I wonder how music will get on the watch. iTunes playlist perhaps?

2 Things will determine this:

1) How much total and most important left over storage there is on the :apple:Watch.

2) What bit rate your music is encoded.

I wonder if an app like Spotify will be allowed to cache music? I don't use iTunes but I use the Spotify app all the time.

Proboly not since Apple owns Beats. Beats will all but certainly be integrated into the Music player and will work.

So Apple won't allow a Spotify app on the watch? Or if won't be allowed to cache music? That would be stupid as Apple has to know lots of iOS users don't use iTunes. Of course it wouldn't be there out of the gate as there won't be full apps right away. But if it's never allowed that would be very disappointing.

So Apple won't allow a Spotify app on the watch?....

Remember it's only speculation on my part. Apple may allow it on SKD 2 but I doubt it. The :apple:Watch will have limited local storage and it's likely that the only storage allowed on the :apple:Watch will continue to be Pictures and (Apple supplied) Music.

Opening up Spotify would require Apple to open up other 3ed party Apps to local storage and there is just not going to be that much available.

Apple is revamping/renaming??? Beats so you should wait and give the new service a try. I use Beats now and have used Spotify in the past. They have some differences but are very comparable.

I'm taking a wait and see approach. It would be nice if Apple had a Spotify competitor ready for when Watch launches. I don't want to have to buy music on iTunes to get music on my watch.
