I'm convinced fully we aren't seeing or hearing squat regarding a new imac.

There would have been more details had it was being introduced today. Apple dropped the freakin ball big time.

EDIT: actually 9to5mac released specs on EVERYTHING following this post and still no iMac mention

I get the feeling somehow Apple messed up on desktops in general and now has to back peddle a bit. I guess that's what happens when you change your priorities.

Even before today, I realized it's not as "sure" as some people were hoping. I figured a 1-in-3 or 1-in-4 chance of seeing an announcement today (or within the next few days).

So, while I HOPE they release it and thing there's still a small shot... I'm not holding my breath.

Either something so awesome is being kept super secret, or we are getting nothing today.

I am leaning toward nothing today in regard to the iMac.

I know, lets start yet another pointless thread about it! Yay! Then we can tweet about it. Double Yay! Then i'll find some LIKE buttons somewhere, and we can click on them, so that all the people I barely remember adding to my facebook can see that I liked something so yawn inspiringly pointless.
Damn, I wish I replied to this FIRST! then I could be like "Hey Mom! Im really here! Replying to this useless thread before anyone else! Wooo! Im awesome!!!"

well, mr. cynic - why do people chat about anything? I personally think that following professional sports and knowing ANYTHING about the players is childish hero worship (for people who you dont know and, frankly, dont give a F about you) and time wasted that could be better spent getting off your OWN ass and playing a sport or getting a hobby.

But everyone disagrees - not for logic, but for emotion.

This is an emotional venting board. You're not the prophet of the internet. Deal with it.

This is worrying me. I've got a bad feeling about this.

The event will center around iPads and rMBP's. A blurb if any about the hardware upgrade to Mac Mini.

The lack of iMac leaks is certainly worrisome. If there is a new one, it certainly isn't a thinner model. We'd have seen thinner model photos by now.
