___Why do my folders open in new windows?

[optimus prime]

for some reason, i cant find the option that enabled my computer to open folders in new windows.

i want to change it back so that when i open a folder it opens in the current windows rather than open a different window.


help me!



edit: i got it. it was in finder preferences.



i guess leave this up for other users to search.
