Could this be a basis for believing upcoming Al MacBooks will have FireWire?:

When the first Intel MacBook Pros were released, they only had FireWire 400 and lacked the FireWire 800 port which Apple had been including on PowerBooks for a few years. People complained, Apple listened. On the next revision of the MacBook Pro, FireWire 800 was included.

So, what do you think is the likelihood of Apple including any type of FireWire (400 or 800) on the upcoming revision of their aluminum MacBooks?

While I could be wrong it looks more and more like firewire is dead, especially with USB 3.0 coming out soon.

The most likely situation is FW S800T, and even that is borderline impossible.
