Just wanted to thanks those that helped me regarding upgrading my 667 TiBooks hard drive, cloning, and rebooting from external hard drive. I cancelled my order for the Hitachi 80GB/7200 when I saw the price drop $30. Reordered the 100/7200 from zipzoomfly (and got it in two days), and LOVE it. I even installed it myself thanks to pbfixit.com. I know for most of you guys installing this would be no big deal, but I have NO experience technically. Anyone considering an upgrade---do it!!

More RAM and new HD, I feel like I have an all new puter!!

thanks again I really appreciate it.

We're all glad it's working well. :)

For someone who claims to have no technical experience, you've done extremely well. Replacing PowerBook hard drives is tricky, even with the excellent PBFixit guides.
