Overall, I am extremely happy with my new MacBook! I have noticed it gets a bit hot at the bottom back center after using for a while or watching videos. It is not too unbearable, I was just wondering if this is normal behavior after some use or something I should be concerned about?

yep, it's normal. That's where the heat gets dissipated. In my experience it gets about as warm as an iPad when it's working hard.

The CPU and motherboard is located in that area, and since the chassis is the sole heat disapparator (Correct term?), then you should expect it to be warmest there.
