Hi

A black message appear on the screen "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button until it turns off, than press the power button again"

The problem is that message appear after each restore, can anybody have this problem and how to resolve, I try to verify the disk but the message apear and I must turn off

Thanks

If you want to verify (and repair, if needed) your startup disk, you'll need to boot from a different volume such as your OS X install disk.

1) insert your OS X install DVD
2) restart your Mac while holding down the "option" key
3) select the install DVD as your startup volume and boot from that
4) once you're booted, select Disk Utility from the menu bar and verify/repair your internal disk (the one you usually boot from); do NOT repair permissions

Hopefully verifying/repairing your startup volume will eliminate your kernel panic problems
