Can I walk into an apple store, when they are open, and trade in my old macbook pro and order a new one with some special order stuff i would want? Extra ram, bigger drive, maybe the amd radeon with more memory...

would like to do this the next time I go home to NY...would be trading in a mid 2015 macbook pro...

is this possible, or does the trade in stuff, special order stuff, need to be done via their online store?

thanks...

I am not sure about the trade in of a MacBook in a local store but you won't be able to configure a MacBook the way you want in a store. They will carry several different configurations but if one of those does not meet your needs you will need to order online. I think you can order online and pickup in the store when they are open but they don't have the ability to do customization in the store.
