Hey everyone! Has anyone else had this issue?
When swapping my Apple Watch Sport Loop band, I noticed a small chip near the lug area. I can feel it with my finger—it’s even slightly sharp to the touch. I know it doesn’t affect functionality and is just normal wear and tear (and I still love my watch!), but I’m curious if others have seen this.

P.S. This is on an Apple Watch SE (2nd gen)

It's a love nibble...
Apple would call it a cosmetic issue,
You'll have to learn to live with it

It is not an issue it's just as you said, wear and tear!

I recently, for the first time ever since owning an Apple Watch, so in 4 years, used a watch band with metal lugs, or whatever it’s called.
When removing it I somehow got the exact same chip. I don’t really care about wear and tear, but I was pretty pssd that such an expensive watch band instantly left a noticeable mark on my dark Apple Watch.
At least I would have been if I had payed anything for the band. Luckily it was a gift and my watch isn’t too important to me.

But yeah, it does happen.

My Apple Watch Series 1 had a bunch of dents and scratches. It does have it more easily for aluminium watches than stainless steel cos these are softer material and are matted.

My Apple Watch Series 6 gold stainless steel has only few micro scratches after a year of use but not as noticeable.

Carry on with it until the screen separates and the battery feels like it’s done.
