Is there a treadmill which:

- is compact
- does not look like a spaceship
- no handlebars etc (does not look like a rehabilitation machine)
- compatible with AW
- has a small stand for iPad and an app for iOS platform
- can be used in an apartment unit
- no 10" color screen on a treadmill

Forgot to say: having incline function would be great.

Up until now, every single treadmill I have seen just looks like a flamboyant giant old American car:

So what you want apparently is a three foot belt, no motor, nothing to grab when you lose your balance, and your neighbors won’t hear you pounding away on.

Good luck with that.

Can't help with threadmill recommandation. But a STRYD footpod will work with any threadmill (and outside) and more precise + you can train by power etc. Disadvantage is, that you must look at your watch during exercise. You can set and change incline to match the threadmill, but is fidly during exercise.

Check below.......

I’ve seen similar to what you are describing on Amazon. Take a look there.

I’m surprised that no treadmill manufacturer really stands out in terms of design. They all seem to look the same. I don’t want a heart sensor — I have that on my Apple Watch. I don’t want a massive screen — I have an iPad. And I don’t want cup holders — I’m there to work out, not hang out. End of rant.

Does anything fit this bill? The Technogym MyRun seems close, but I think it’s optimized for its own service.

I couldn't find any treadmill with a decent design suitable for compact spaces. The main reason probably is treadmills are mostly designed for gyms and not apartment units.

The smaller ones (for home) usually have inferior quality. I'm thinking of getting a rowing machine. Can't fit a spaceship in my apartment unit and the smaller ones are junk. At least the ones in stock...

Thanks this is pretty much what I had in mind but the treadmill is ~5000CAD also no retailers in Canada!

Virtually no (if not literally no) home-use treadmills have GymKit compatibility. Any ones that do are not compact. I've been treadmill shopping and had to give up on the GymKit requirement almost immediately as it remains a feature pretty much exclusive to large commercial machines, and few of them at that.

The TechnoGym MyRun does not support GymKit that I am aware of.

I have a myrun. It doesn’t interface with the Apple Watch, however I use it along with a stryd foot pod which does work with the Apple Watch, and yesterday tried using fitness+ which works well with the Apple Watch. I like the treadmill due to it working well, not looking like a spaceship and you can bring your own screen.
