Does your macboook air lid sometimes is like too ‘stick’ tbat opening would be harder than usual? Maybe it’s because of the pressure when holding it to hard at clamshell. Would this ultimately harm it?

In answer to your question. Holding it more firmly at the opening shouldn't cause it to stick. Besides better to have a lid that is a bit more snug and harder to open rather than a loosely opening one.

It did for me until I figured out where to grab it by to open it more easily. There is a little lip that the top is larger than the bottom, just grab on to that with your finger, and PULL!
