a couple $999 macbook white questions

1 - is the $999 macbook white good for running logic studio 8?
2 - is spending another $700 or so worth it to get a macbook pro?

i plan on using the macbook to produce hip hop beats and record vocals. is it worth spending more money for a macbook pro for the dedicated graphics card? will logic studio be resource needy?

It depends how many tracks you plan on recording etc, For light to moderate audio work the macbook will be fine as long as you max the ram, For anything more than that I would go for a dual cpu G5 (off eBay or somewhere) or a Mac Pro (If you can justify spending that much)

eh, i wouldnt put money on it, but it depends on if it's going to be used frequently or not... the new white macbook would be enough for me to record and whatnot, but ive never used logic and i dont record often at all.
