Hi folks. First time posting here. I updated my 2017 intel iMac from 10.14.6 to 13.7.2 a couple of days ago and have run into some problems. First, I cannot seem to print to my network printer ... the print job seems not to be reaching the print server. Was working fine last week before updating. Is there perhaps some security setting that I've missed?
Second, I use my iMac primarily for music production and have a studio full of midi devices some of which are plugged into a Motu Midi Express 128. With new update I cannot seem to use the Midi Express as it's greyed out in Audio Midi Setup. It is powered by usb from the iMac and its power light is lit so there must be a usb connection to the iMac. This is really a major problem as I often play keyboards that are plugged into the Midi Express with other usb midi devices using midi patchbay. I could perhaps use the usb midi capabilities of the keyboards but there are already many usb devices connected to the iMac (including the Midi Express) and there's no room for more.
Third, when using Cubase to record, I sometimes need to move a track for one reason or another. It used to be straightforward ... just drag and drop. Now when I do this the screen goes white and I can just barely see the tracks. It's like a thick fog. Looks like a video driver issue I had years ago with a Windoze machine.
Any help with any (or all) of these problems would be much appreciated.
