I was running Big Sur but decided to go back to Catalina. I have a 2018 Mac mini.
I booted into recovery and erased the drive (using show all). Then rebooted into internet recovery. 20 minutes later it rebooted and brought up the Catalina installer. I agreed to the terms and it began installing. Progress bar gets to the end and it reboots. But it reboots into internet recovery for some reason.
I’ve tried rebooting and holding command-R but still end up in internet recovery.
I’ve tried reinstalling like 4 times now. Anyone have any suggestions?
Edit: trying the clearing of nvram. Something different is happening. Hopefully it fixes it.
Edit: The above fixed it.
