If you are not using it for video, what are you needing them for? Macs have Mic-ins which are useful for A/D-D/A natively.

As a result of that fact, is why I am asking what your usage will be.

Oo. Well, that's over my head. I'm sure anything USB would interface - your question could be software that can read it.
