I have a few questions.

1. Do they sell a simple dvi-d to rca adapter? Not a analog to digital box. A simple cable or adapter?

2. Where can I buy a mini dvi to dvi adapter for cheaper than apple's 19.00? Does anyone have a spare one? (Or mini dvi to rca if the first question is no)

3. How can I integrate audio from my macbook into hdmi from a dvi to hdmi adapter?

No. DVI-D has no analog signal in it. RCA (presumably you mean composite video) is analog. By definition, there would have to be a digital-analog conversion.

DVD-I already has a VGA analog signal present on some of the pins, which is why you can go DVI-I to VGA with a simple adaptor.
