Just got a new mbp, i'm pretty hyped, and so far everything is good, but unfortunately not absolutely perfect. Just wanted to share some thoughts, and who knows, maybe an answer can come out of them.

- got bootcamp to work on the first try, nothing went wrong, it was actually pretty easy. The only problem I experienced was I couldn't connect wirelessly to the internet, but I fixed that by changing to channel 7 and changing the security encription (i forget what it was, WPA or something from WEP)

- for some reason now though, instead of giving me a battery warning, or going into automatic sleep when the battery runs down, the mbp pops up a window that forces me to restart. or is this normal? anyone experience this?

- wireless seems to go in spurts, sometimes it is really fast, at others I'm still connected, it says 4 bars, but nothing will load. I can sometimes fixing this by flipping the interference option thing on and off.

- its kinda hot, but I looked around, not too much. I wonder how hot it will get while rendering though.....

- i had a lot of fun taking it out of its box B)

- quicksilver rocks. vx revolution software for mac sucks butt. get the other one, i forget the name, but its free, and i think is the one used for the mighty mouse. I hear vx causes kernal crashes, but not only that.... my scroll wheel and other functions actually worked better with the other software.

- apples smell kinda wierd. no, not real apples. but yes, apples.

- got the matte screen, couldn't be happier.

- macdrive is a godsend. internet explorer can kiss my ass, what kind of browser takes that long to install?
