A few questions

I've had my MBP a few months now and its absolutely fantastic but I have a few questions which hopefully someone can answer

1. Is there anyway to make the backlight stay on using expose as when watching videos on youtube etc it goes off (not a big problem I know)

2. I downloaded Gimp, but now have photoshop, I deleted it by moving the gimp file from applications to trash but when I empty trash there are files which wont delete as it says they are in use.
To be exact 'libexpat1.5.2.dylib' and 'dbus-daemon'

There is a small application called Caffeine that stays in your menubar and once you turn it on will keep the screen and key board from dimming! ;-)
