Hey, just a few things I need clearing up regards to my new TC running on Lion.

1) Can I stop the 'Time Capsule Backups' drive from appearing on my desktop?

2) Do other people on my WiFi network have access to my backup files? I have two other Mac users that also use the TC for internet but I don't want them to be able to look through the files on the hard drive. In TM preferences 'Encrypt Backup Disc' is greyed out.

Thanks in advance for your replies :)

Lion doesn't display the drive on my desktop... along with any other drive. The drive will be in the left Finder bar.

As for the WiFi network, they can see it, but the drive is password protected. You must have the password to connect to it. If you have admin access you can access the contents of a backup once connected.
