Ok, so long story short, a tiny fly got caught under the "1" key on my Blackbook keyboard and it died under the keyboard. It is damn near impossible for me to take it out, so do I just leave it there to rot? Will its decomposing affect the keyboard in any way in the future?

Yes, I can see a lot of joke posts coming, which is fine by me, but hopefully one of you will at least give me a reasonably serious feedback:(. Thanks.

Try popping the "1" key off and spray some Gas Duster in the area, but do everything possible to get it out, if you're not able to get it out the Apple Store Genius should be able to get it out in no time. Good Luck.

Pull with your fingernail (not a screwdriver) on the upper left corner and when you hear it snap out slide your finger to the middle left and pull it up there as it is connected on the right side. To reattach just place the key, make sure its centered, and push straight down.

I wouldn't. Do like the other guy said and take it to the Apple store.

Nevermind

Use a piece of sticky-tape (3M Scotch Tape or so), push one of its edges beneath the key and try to lift the dead fly out.

How about suctioning it out by vacuum cleaner? Do you have one of those cleaners that are designed to clean electronics? Or maybe blow it out with one of those cans of air.

If it got under there by itself, it should eventually come out.

BTW, bugs dessicate, they don't rot. The fly may shrink as it drys, which means it may rolled or blown out.
