There are lots of drawing and painting apps on the App Store, and I have found one quite interesting. It's called Animation Desk, and it allows you to create hand-drawn animations on iPhone. I was firstly attracted by its beautiful interface and now Im totally blown away by it. The drawing experience of it was similar to drawing flip book animations but with more fun!
I've made a 60-frame animation and uploaded it to my YouTube channel. To share a file is childs play since it takes only two steps to upload animations to either Facebook or YouTube.
Making an animation might sound difficult and time-consuming in the first place but surprisingly it didnt take me too much time to finish my work using this app.
When sketching on one frame after another, I felt like I was kinda making a real animation on a professional desk.
And it's cool to see my hand-drawn pictures moving like it's truly alive.
I adopted a motion background to my drawing and it made my animation even more fascinating.
Both my drawings and the background become alive when I tap "Play". It's like watching an animated short film.
Also I like the feature that allows me to switch between different layers.
It's very helpful to separate sketches and colors.
Heres my exported work (without the motion background).

All In all, it definitely worth the $2.99 I paid, and Im considering making more animations this coming weekend! The app also has an iPad version. I guess Ill give it a try on my friends iPad.
One quick question. Can anyone suggest which stylus works best for drawing on an iPhone 4? Thanks in advance, guys.
