I have recently updated to OS X 10.9.2 which has a newer version of safari (7.0.2) than 10.9.1. I accidentally found that when scrolling fast in websites written with a lot of javascript safari seems to be very unstable and occupying an unreasonable amount of cpu resources. Even after this kind of webpage is fully loaded, I have to wait for safari to load content when scrolling fast along the page. The same thing doesn't happen with firefox for mac.

One of the websites I found causing this problem is
http://www.w3schools.com/ajax/ajax_xmlhttprequest_onreadystatechange.asp

Can anyone please try opening it with safari 7.0.2 and see if you have any problem scrolling fast through the page. Meanwhile please also check your activity monitor to see if there is any intensive cpu activity in the name of safari. Thanks.
