Hi!
I am looking for an application that can easily convert .avi til .mov so I can watch them in iTunes and with my Apple TV :)
I have the Quick Time Pro, but it takes forever to save them one by one to .mov file.

I have been looking at Tune4Mac Video Converter.. Does anyone know if this is what I am looking for?

Many thanks

Lisa

i use VLC transcoding feature, it can convert any format to any format and it's free. Though some knowledge of codecs and bitrates are required.

In going from .avi to any QuickTime format that can be read by iTunes, what is the smallest conversion that can be made?

In other words, what is the smallest file size of the ones readable by iTunes?

depends on quality, an 90 minute movie should at a minimum be 700MB, iTunes can read different formats, but i would recomend using H.264 with AAC 5.1 audio.

Thanks everyone!
I dont have any knowledge of any codec etc, so really looking for the easiest way possible ;)
Have any of you heard of the Tune4Mac Video Converter? It looks so simple, but the VisualHub might just as easy?
I dont know which format I should use to get it in iTunes though..? Now i just open and save as .mov in Quick Time Pro.
The VisualHub doesnt do .mov or?

Thanks
