Just curious...what brand do most of you's prefer as a secondary external hard drive(firewire..of course).
i know most, if not all are mac compatble...but i just want to be sure when i kick down for a 250 GB drive. this will be for video files for final cut pro by the way.
I bought a LaCie Porsche 160 Gig 2 months ago and its broke
Apparently LaCie had some issues with the Firewire 800 and they offered an update on their site to fix the bug. It came to late for me.
Now I have to figure out how to get at least some of the data back and send LaCie their Harddisk so that they can send me a new one.
Duff-Man says....I would suggest searching/reading the Buyer's Guide forums here as there have been numerous threads in there with lots of good opinions.....oh yeah!
