For the money Swift Publisher is hard to beat. The next step up is to the expensive apps like Adobe InDesign

Commercial app Ragtime Solo 5.6.6 is a free download. Mac veteran DTP app Ready, Set, Go 7.6.5 is available. Papyrus 11.3 looks really nice. MLayout is a new Cocoa-based layout app which imports native QuarkXpress 3.3 files. You might also want too take a look at Apple's Pages.

Adobe Indesign would be (and is) my first choice for DTP.
