umm, maybe if you're 15 years old with eleven friends. If I changed my number tomorrow, I would lose freelance work, guaranteed.

$15 is definitely not worth losing your number, also i bet you have to pay new activation fees that definitely go beyond the 399 plus 18 upgrade. Could be wrong though.
But how long after I spend 399 to have it day 1, will they drop the price because not as many iphone 3G users are buying it as they thought.
