I always order food overwhelmingly, and I am an embarrassment in buffets. I heard that people with high metabolisms are better off eating many smaller meals, instead of something like say, 2 very large ones. Currently, I can finish a whole mountain of food in one bite, but I only eat some twice a day.

I am not fat or anything at all.

same here. i'm always putting away tons of food. and i eat two huge meals a day. lunch and dinner with lots of snacks in between. including late night.

Start eating smaller meals and snacking on healthy stuff now, or the habit of eating large meal will bite you in the ass -- and that ass will become infected and double in size along with your gut when you get a desk job, get married, or turn 30 or 40.

Yep.

When I was younger I could eat whatever I wanted and as much as I wanted. Then in my late 20s my metabolism slowed... But I was used to eating huge portions.

Agreed. I'm starting to hit that point now, I'm only 26, but I have to start watching what I eat in order to maintain my weight.

Those who can eat all they want, enjoy it while it lasts.

Your bodies will change and pretty soon you will be developing in a different direction.

Learn to eat healthy as it will serve you well later in life. :)

Meal size has nothing to do with metabolism.

Yes, but famous last words of future body mass doublers usually is, "I have a high metabolism and can eat anything I want." While they shovel food in trough sized amounts at every meal.

Then they stop being as active, and balloon up faster than Oprah when she falls off another diet.

Me too. I'm 28.

Doesn't bother me though. My apetite has naturally decreased anyway.

I do occasionally pack in a massive burger though, or all-you-can-eat wings at certain pubs. ;)
