Apple Intelligence now will change the default settings used in an app based on one’s usage. I noticed that sending a Notepad item was going out as a Collaboration rather than a Send. ChatGPT offered insight:

If you frequently use the Collaboration feature to share notes, the app may start defaulting to Collaboration instead of Send a copy (when you tap the Share button). This behavior is part of Apple’s AI-driven personalization efforts to streamline your workflow based on your habits. If you send a note as a Collaboration the Apple Notes app (iPadOS 18.3 and later), any changes you make to the note will automatically be shared with all collaborators in real-time.” Further, apparently the only way to disable this in the app is to disable all Intelligence.
I’ll be turning off this AI and rely on ChatGPT.
