I enjoy watching air traffic radar feeds from the website - http://www.passur.com/airportmonitor-locations.htm- and have done so with my PowerBook running OS 10.3.9 with that system's latest Java update. I recently brought home a brand new iMac 24" running Leopard with its latest Java update but when bringing up a selected airport, all I get is the map and interface graphic. No aircraft show up from the feed. The site does work, as I can still view it properly on the PowerBook and with my PC at work.

Software Update indicates that I have the latest Java update, so is there something I'm missing or is this a Java issue at all? I'm a relative novice at this, so I don't know the correct questions to ask.

Can anyone help?

Well, I downloaded and reinstalled Java with update 1 from with no improvement. I then downloaded Mozilla FireFox and tried the website thru there and it worked perfectly. It appears to be a Safari/Java issue.

I can visit that site and everything seems to work fine. I'm running on 10.5.4 with Java version 1.5.0_13 according to Java.

hey this is great ! Does something similar exist for airports in Europe ?

Thanks,
TEx

I've never looked for non-US airport radar, so I don't really know for sure.

There is a live ATC audio feed site, for live radio transmissions that may interest you. The address for the European feed is: http://www.liveatc.net/feedindex.php?type=international-eu

There are audio feeds from airports worldwide on this site and they are live. There is a 10-15 minute delay in the radar feeds for security purposes.

Enjoy.
