I was wondering if there was a plug that you can insert into the lightning port so water doesn't get inside. Like if I were to take my iPhone to the pool and get it completely wet I won't have to wait the 4 or so hours for it to dry to charge it.

Any ideas?

Small ziplock bags work well for water. Not very attractive but will get the job done.

Yes, they are called Port Plugs and you can get them on Amazon.
