So I don't know much at all about unlocking/jailbreaking. I am curious if I can b/c I would like to sell my 3GS and it seems if I can unlock it its worth a bit more. The more I read the more I get confused - blackra1n, redsn0w, etc, etc 
I have a 16gb 3GS, never unlocked or jailbroke, I did install iOS4 Monday (perhaps a mistake?), and I did a DFU check, it runs bootroom 359.3
I also read about the Dev-Team guys, and I saw they released some sort of update 4.01, but if I am reading it right, my phone has to already be jailbroke to work?
Sorry for the - i'm sure - remedial questions - I have been surfing this forum all day and just getting more confused. I dont really get the differences between pwnage tools and all the xxxsn0w's... same thing?
